The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence provides terminally ill patients with a place to spend their final days in comfort and dignity. Bereavement groups are offered throughout the year divided by age group and language. They are free of charge and open to the community.
Good Grief Central offers free support groups, workshops, education, and counseling to individuals and families grieving the loss of a loved one.
Services are free of cost, and telehealth (virtual) options are also available for some groups/workshops.
Funeral arrangement assistance, accompaniment & grief support offered (art therapy workshops, art therapy group, virtual support group, psychological consultations, yoga).
Nova offers bereavement support to caregivers who’s loved one was followed by the NOVA team.
Services are only for those followed by Nova nurse therefore they do not take external referrals.
Services include home support programs, respite and psychosocial support.
Nova West Island offers bereavement support groups for adults, children and youth three times a year.
